About Annette
I’ve experienced some of the stuff you’re dealing with. I’m a Dutch citizen, having lived in France, Belgium and the US, and planning, in a couple of years, to move to South America, the world traveller in me is unstoppable :-).
I know that gnawing feeling of loneliness and a sense of not belonging. In my case, as a teenager I felt left out, different and misunderstood. I spend a good part of my time abroad figuring out who I am and what I want, and I did find answers. Little by little, I found a way to deal with my fear and depression and I can focus now on things that definitely make my life worthwhile. One of the things that make me happy now is to work with you!
Aside from studies in painting, journalism and language teaching, I completed over the years several coaching courses, an education as a registered life coach, a study in transactional analysis and over the past two years courses in working with ACT. I have studied ACT with Gijs Jansen in the Netherlands (ACT Guide), done extensive self-studying (Russ Harris, Robyn Walser, Darrah Westrup) and I have coached several clients who were happy to have worked with me.
My mission is to guide you to a happier life in which you chose what you really want to do and take steps in the right direction. In the process, you will be relieved to learn clever ways to work and practice with all these thoughts and feelings you’re having and ACTIVELY start taking steps towards a life that aligns with your heart-felt values.
How about me? Today I live a good life, I have a great partner and a sweet dog, family and friends, and I enjoy my work, hiking and stargazing in nature, swimming, movies and reading.
